IMO STATE GOVERNMENT TO PROVIDE FREE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR TRANSPORT FOR NDIMO IN LAGOS

In keeping with his administration’s Shared Prosperity agenda, the Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma, has once again approved free transportation for Imo indigenes (Ndimo) resident in Lagos to travel home for the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year festivities.
Approved Bus Routes
- Lagos – Owerri – Lagos
- Lagos – Orlu – Lagos
- Lagos – Okigwe – Lagos
Travel Dates
- Departure from Lagos: December 23, 24, and 25, 2025
- Return to Lagos: January 5 and 6, 2026
Departure Time
- 8:15 a.m. daily
First Pickup Points in Lagos
- Awo-Omamma
- Awo-Idemili
- The transport scheme is completely free. Beneficiaries are advised not to pay money to any individual.
- Accreditation is mandatory. Only duly accredited Imo indigenes in Lagos will benefit.
- Passengers are advised to travel with small luggage only.
