International Afrobeats artist, producer, and songwriter Jesse Flames, whose real name is Jesse Nnaemeka Dibe, hails from Orlu in Imo State. Born in the United States in 1999, Jesse was raised in Festac, Lagos, and later in London, UK. He is the son of the late Hon Chief Dr Godwin Uche Dibe (IYI 1 of Umuna) CEO of Claudio & Alessio). He is also the younger brother to Hon Godson Dibe (The Special Adviser on Empowerment to the Governor of Imo State (Hope Odidika Uzodinma).


Jesse recently unveiled a dynamic new single titled FLEX, which features none other than Nigerian rap legend Jesse Jagz. More than just a track, FLEX reflects Jesse’s personal journey — transforming unwavering passion into a global statement of confidence and persistence. According to Jesse, the song embodies themes of freedom, growth, and legacy. Collaborating with Jesse Jagz, he says, marked a full-circle moment, uniting two powerful voices in the Nigerian music space. Jesse Jagz echoed this sentiment, describing the collaboration as a celebration of their individual paths and the broader global rise of Nigerian music.


With over 6 million global streams under his belt, Jesse Flames has performed at major venues including the O2 Brixton Academy and OVO Arena Wembley, solidifying his position in the Afrobeats scene. He’s not just making waves — he’s steadily emerging as one of the genre’s most stylish and visionary voices.

Jesse’s career took off in 2016 after a freestyle over Olamide’s “Who You Epp” went viral, gaining him thousands of followers and even recognition from Olamide himself. Since then, he has released over 18 songs, including the well-received 2021 EP Good Intentions. His latest single FLEX is currently being played on major platforms like MTV Base, Trace, HipTV, and Sound City.


Blending vibrant rhythms with smooth melodies, Jesse’s sound is a seamless mix of Lagos heat, London’s nightlife, and New York swagger. He has performed for audiences of over 20,000 and shared the stage with major acts like Rick Ross, Kizz Daniel. 


Outside the studio, Jesse holds a degree in Digital Film Production from Middlesex University in London. Looking ahead to 2025 -2026 he’s gearing up for major collaborations with artists like Ice Prince, M.I Abaga, Magnito, and Smurlee. Jesse Flames isn’t just releasing tracks — he’s laying the foundation for a legacy, with ambitions of achieving Platinum and Gold records, and pushing Afrobeats to even greater global heights.
