Governor Nwifuru Announces Key Appointments to EBBC,Hospital Management Board.

In a strategic move aimed at boosting the efficiency of state institutions, the Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB, FCAI, GGCEHF, has approved fresh appointments into the Governing Boards of the Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation (EBBC) and the Hospital Management Board.
According to a statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Dr. Monday Uzor, the newly appointed members of the EBBC Governing Board include:
Mr. Donatus Owo – Chairman
Mr. Felix Ukah – Member
Mr. Sunny B. Akpagu – Member
Mr. Samson Nwafor – Member
Mr. Nnamdi Akpa – Member
Mrs. Chinwe Imo-Eze – Member
Engr. Emmanuel Nwuzor Oriji – Member
The Governor also constituted a new Hospital Management Board, appointing the following individuals:
Mrs. Monica Ogada – Chairman
Mr. Elias Nwibo – Member
Mr. Okechukwu Oko-Eze – Member
Mr. Celestine Nwogo – Member
Mrs. Nnenna Nwele – Member
The swearing-in ceremony for the appointees is scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2025, at the Conference Room, Office of the Governor, Ochoudo Centenary City, Abakaliki, beginning at 12:00 noon. All appointees are expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m.
Governor Nwifuru’s latest appointments underscore his administration’s commitment to enhancing institutional governance and service delivery across Ebonyi State.
