Umahi Appoints Francis Nwaze as Senior Special Assistant on Media

The Minister of Works, , has approved the appointment of Francis Nwaze as Senior Special Assistant on Media with immediate effect.
Nwaze, a seasoned media professional, brings years of experience in public communication and media relations to his new role at the Federal Ministry of Works.
He previously served as Special Assistant to the Governor on Media (Spokesperson) from 2019 to 2023 and was Technical Assistant on Media between 2017 and 2019.
He holds a Diploma in Journalism, as well as Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University and Ebonyi State University.
Announcing the appointment, the Chief of Staff said the Minister expressed strong confidence in Nwaze’s competence, dedication, and professionalism.
He noted that Umahi expects him to deploy his wealth of experience to strengthen public communication and enhance the information and outreach objectives of the Ministry of Works.
