DIBE CONGRATULATES NDI IMO ON 50 YEARS OF STATEHOOD, DESCRIBING UZODINMA AS VISIONARY LEADER.

The Special Adviser to Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on Empowerment, Hon. Godson Dibe, has congratulated Ndi Imo on the 50th anniversary of the state's creation. He lauded Governor Uzodinma as a visionary leader whose strategic leadership has driven Imo’s remarkable progress.
Speaking at Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport, Owerri, Hon. Dibe commended the Imo State Government for its impressive achievements under Uzodinma’s leadership, justifying the state's decision to celebrate its Golden Jubilee starting February 3, 2026.
He invited the press on a tour from the airport through Owerri to Orlu to witness firsthand the transformative developments—highlighting that the current administration has achieved what many once considered impossible. He emphasized the impact of the Hope Agenda and Shared Prosperity Vision, which have dispelled negative perceptions and delivered real democratic dividends to Ndi Imo.
Hon. Dibe spotlighted key infrastructural projects—Owerri-Orlu, Owerri-Okigwe, and Owerri-Umuahia roads—embodying the "3R" philosophy of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation, and Recovery. He also noted progress in the Orashi Electricity Project and improvements in the health sector.
He praised recent reforms for fostering a sense of belonging among citizens, and highlighted efforts in education, including the establishment of the University of Digital Innovations and expanded polytechnic programs—especially fitting during the state's Golden Jubilee.
Additionally, Hon. Dibe acknowledged empowerment initiatives for artisans and Youths along with enhanced security measures that have reduced insecurity and attracted investors, positioning Imo as a model of good governance.
He concluded by congratulating His Excellency , Dr. Hope Uzodinma executive governor of Imo state on his 6 years People Oriented governance in the state as well as Ndi Imo on the anniversary, calling for political unity and collaboration with a leader committed to their welfare. These are essential for continued growth and advancement of our dear state.
