Imo-Based Journalist, Nwulu, Unveils Newspage Newspapers in Owerri

It was a moment of excitement and solidarity on Sunday as media practitioners in Imo State gathered to witness the formal unveiling of Newspage Newspapers, a new media outfit established by veteran journalist and cleric, Pastor Emeka Nwulu.
The event took place at No. 5 Mere Street, by Douglas Road, Owerri.
The ceremony attracted prominent members of the media community, including representatives of the Correspondents’ Chapel, the Association of Imo-Based Journalists, and the Association of Ohaji/Egbema Practicing Journalists. Also in attendance were notable political figures and stakeholders from Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area.
Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Vitalis Nwulu, alongside Hon. Kenneth Ekwueme, Hon. Stephen Lemachi Nzeribe, Hon. Everest Dikocha, Hon. Nnaemeka LukeChukwu, Obieze Osiagigor, Hon. Elizabeth Opara (Vice Chairman, Ohaji/Egbema LGA), Okechukwu Ikechi, Hon. Okechukwu Eshiobi, Ekwueme Anderson Iheanyi, and Proph. Onyemuchechukwu Donatus, commended the initiative.
They encouraged the publisher to uphold truth, integrity, and humanitarian values in his journalism practice, while offering prayers for the growth and sustainability of the media outfit.
In his appreciation speech, Pastor Nwulu expressed gratitude to God and to all who graced the occasion. He described the establishment of Newspage Newspapers as a divinely inspired project and reaffirmed his commitment to promoting truth, accuracy, and societal development through responsible journalism.
Having contributed significantly to peacebuilding and public enlightenment over the years, Nwulu assured that the newspaper would maintain high ethical standards. He called on the public for their support and patronage, acknowledging that although challenges may arise, he remains determined not to disappoint.
