...Senator Dachungyang Describes President as ‘Humanitarian Personified’
By Kelechi Ugo

Addressing the press after the meeting, Hon. Stephen Bond, National Coordinator of TRUSTA, described the organization as a Pan-Nigerian socio-political movement committed to promoting good governance and national development.
“We are gathered here today to reaffirm our unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration,” Bond said. “His leadership has shown exceptional courage in confronting Nigeria’s most pressing challenges—from economic reforms and infrastructure to education, healthcare, and national security.”
Bond praised Tinubu’s vision and policy direction, stating that the administration’s initiatives have contributed to economic stability and strengthened international partnerships. He emphasized the need for continuity in leadership to consolidate ongoing reforms and transformation.
“We are at a historic crossroads,” he added. “What Nigeria needs now is a knowledgeable, pragmatic, and emotionally mature leader with the will to navigate us toward a united and prosperous future. That leader is President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
While acknowledging existing national challenges, TRUSTA noted that most stem from systemic failures and entrenched corruption built up over the years—issues that cannot be solved instantly.
“Reformation is often the offspring of prior deformation. The pains we are experiencing today are the birth pangs of a better Nigeria. President Tinubu’s leadership is laying the foundation for Nigeria’s resurgence,” Bond asserted.
TRUSTA concluded its meeting with a strong endorsement of Tinubu for a second term, calling on Nigerians to join the movement under the slogan: “Trust Tinubu Again – Stronger Together.”
Also speaking at the NEC meeting, Comrade Kelechi Ugo Nwenyi, Chairman of TRUSTA’s National Directorate of Media and Coordinator of the Ebonyi State Chapter, described the meeting as a “resounding success.”
“We deliberated on critical national issues and developed a clear roadmap for the future. I sincerely thank our National Coordinator, Hon. Steve Bond, for appointing me to this strategic role,” Nwenyi said. “Let it be known—TRUSTA is about to spread like wildfire across the nation.”
Comrade Ugo also called on members from Ebonyi State to lead in mobilization efforts, urging them to ensure the state emerges as the strongest supporter of President Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid.
In a surprising twist, Senator Pam Mwadkon Dachungyang, representing Plateau North Senatorial District under the Action Democratic Party (ADP), openly endorsed President Tinubu for re-election, despite being in the opposition.
Speaking during a courtesy visit to the TRUSTA delegates in Abuja, Senator Dachungyang described the President as a “visionary leader and humanitarian personified.”
“President Tinubu is not in office to enrich himself. He is driven by a desire to leave behind lasting legacies,” the senator stated. “This is no longer about political parties, but about leaders who truly care about the Nigerian people.”
He went further to say that both he and his party, ADP, will actively work to ensure Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
“We will collaborate closely with TRUSTA to achieve this goal. I urge the group to reach out to all like-minded individuals ready to join this national mission.”
As Nigeria inches closer to the next general elections, the formation of grassroots movements like TRUSTA and cross-party endorsements signal an evolving political landscape. With its growing national presence and strong messaging, TRUSTA appears poised to play a major role in shaping the narrative for Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
