An aspirant for the Nkwere/Nwangele/Njaba/Isu Federal Constituency seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, Mrs. Queen Chinyere Tim-Opurum, has commended Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, for his commitment to democratic principles and adherence to the party’s guidelines ahead of the forthcoming primary election.

Speaking with journalists in Owerri, Tim-Opurum expressed confidence in her chances of emerging victorious in the APC primary, stressing that the governor’s assurance of a transparent and credible process has strengthened the confidence of aspirants.

She praised Governor Uzodinma for insisting that the party’s rules and democratic procedures be strictly followed during the primary election.

According to her, “I commend Governor Hope Uzodinma for assuring all aspirants that the primary election will be conducted in a free, fair, and transparent manner in line with the guidelines of our great party, the APC.”

The federal constituency hopeful said she remains optimistic about her victory, citing what she described as overwhelming grassroots support across the constituency, particularly in Nkwere Local Government Area.

“I am fully prepared for the primary election, and I am confident of victory if the process is free and fair. The people, especially those from Nkwere Local Government Area, have continued to show me massive support during my consultations and visits across the constituency,” she stated.

Tim-Opurum further highlighted her contributions to community development, noting that she has consistently supported her people even as a private citizen.

“I have been doing great things for my people as a private individual. With the support and platform of government, I will do even more to improve the lives of the people,” she added.

She reaffirmed her commitment to effective representation and grassroots-oriented leadership if elected to represent the constituency in the House of Representatives.
