Orsu APC Chairman, Ukachukwu Pledges Unity, Predicts Landslide Victory in 2027

The newly elected Chairman of the (APC) in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Ukachukwu Benjamin Chidiebere (KSJI), has pledged to foster unity and strengthen party cohesion across the area.
Hon. Ukachukwu made this commitment following the official inauguration of APC chairmen for all 27 local government areas in Imo State. The event held on March 21, 2026 at the Party Secretariat, Owerri was presided over by the State Chairman, Hon. Austin Onyedebelu.
In his inaugural address, Ukachukwu expressed concern over the prolonged insecurity that had affected Orsu over the past five years. He noted that the activities of hoodlums had significantly disrupted peace in the area, but commended the intervention of the Imo State Governor,His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for restoring peace in Orsu and neighboring communities in Anambra State.
He emphasized his commitment to reconciliation and inclusiveness, promising to unite stakeholders and mobilize grassroots support for the APC.
“I am determined to work hard to unite Orsu people and reposition the APC for greater success. Together, we will ensure victory in future elections,” he said.
The Chairman also expressed confidence in the Party’s prospects ahead of the 2027 general elections, projecting a sweeping victory and reaffirming support for the President.
“We will re-elect President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. Imo State remains firmly APC, and Orsu will not be an exception. This is a collective effort, and we are fully prepared for a landslide victory,” he added.
Ukachukwu highlighted key political figures and stakeholders from Orsu who will collaborate with him to achieve these goals. They include:

He noted that the list is not exhaustive, adding that many other stakeholders are committed to the Party’s success in the area.
Hon. Ukachukwu concluded by reiterating that unity, collaboration, and grassroots mobilization will be central to the APC’s strategy in Orsu as the 2027 elections approach.
