Imo Niger Delta Ministry Honours Crime-Fighting Police Officer “Kill & Bury”

The Imo State Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and Intelligence, in collaboration with community leaders in the Niger Delta area of the state, is set to honour a distinguished police officer, Inspector Chika Vincent Okebata, for his outstanding efforts in combating crime and maintaining security.
Inspector Okebata, popularly known as “Kill & Bury,” (GKB)will receive the Award of Excellence on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, during a ceremony scheduled to hold at the Imo State Secretariat Complex.
According to the organisers, the award is in recognition of the officer’s dedication, bravery, and commitment to tackling criminal activities in the area. His efforts, they noted, have significantly contributed to the reduction of crime and the restoration of peace in several communities.
The honour, they added, is intended not only to celebrate his achievements but also to encourage him to sustain and strengthen his fight against crime and criminality in the State as well as thanking him for stopping pipeline vandalization, fighting criminals in Oguta,Ohaji/Egbema and Oru West Local Government Areas, precisely,Agwa,Izombie,Awa,Mmahu,Orsu Obodo, Ohaji,Assa,Obile etc.
Several top government officials, security stakeholders, and community leaders are expected to attend the event to celebrate the decorated officer and his contributions to public safety.
