Imo-Based Journalists Mourn Colleague, Henry Amadi
Members of the Association of Imo State Based Journalists (AIBJ) have expressed deep sorrow over the death of their colleague, Mr. Henry Amadi, who passed away recently after a brief illness.
In a statement issued by the Association and signed by its Chairman, Comrade Kelechi Ugo, members said they received the news of Mr. Amadi’s death with shock and sadness.
The Association described the late journalist as a committed media professional whose contributions to journalism would be greatly missed.
Comrade Ugo extended the Association’s heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed for the strength and comfort needed to bear what he described as an irreparable loss.
He also prayed for the peaceful repose of Mr. Amadi’s soul.
Until his death, Mr. Amadi served as the Editor of Christian Light Newspaper, where he was known for his dedication to ethical journalism and service to the profession.
His colleagues noted that his legacy in the media community will not be forgotten.
