 Ejizu Pledges Unity, Grassroots Mobilisation for APC in Ohaji/Egbema

The newly elected Chairman of the (APC) in Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Augustine Achor Ejizu, has pledged to promote unity and strengthen the Party cohesion across the area as part of efforts to reposition the Party ahead of the 2027 general elections.


Ejizu, popularly known as “Oshimiri,” made this commitment following the inauguration of APC chairmen for all 27 local government areas in the State. The ceremony, held on March 21, 2026, at the Party Secretariat in Owerri which was presided over by the State Chairman, Hon. Austin Onyedebelu.


In his inaugural remarks, Ejizu emphasised reconciliation, inclusiveness, and grassroots engagement as key priorities of his administration. He assured party members and stakeholders of his readiness to bridge divisions and build a more united front.


“I am committed to uniting the people of Ohaji/Egbema and repositioning  APC for greater success. Through collective effort, we will consolidate our strength and secure victory in future elections,” he said.


Looking ahead to the 2027 polls, Ejizu expressed strong optimism about the party’s chances, projecting a decisive win at all levels. He reaffirmed support for the President and stressed that Imo State would remain a stronghold of the APC.


“We are fully prepared to deliver a landslide victory in 2027. Ohaji/Egbema will play its part in ensuring the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he added.


He further noted that sustained unity, strategic collaboration, and effective grassroots mobilisation would form the cornerstone of the Party’s campaign strategy in the lead-up to the elections.


Ejizu concluded by calling on Party faithful and stakeholders to remain committed and work collectively towards strengthening the APC’s presence across the Local Government Area.
