Ngor-Okpala Renewed Hope Ambassador Coordinator, Ekeh, Backs Mbata, Predicts APC Landslide Victory in 2027

The Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassador, a campaign support group for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon. Chidi Sylvester Ekeh popularly called"Dangote", has declared his support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) Candidate for Imo East Senatorial District, Prince Alex Mbata, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ekeh, a former Chairman of Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area, also expressed confidence in the electoral prospects of the APC, predicting a landslide victory for the Party in the forthcoming elections.
The former Council Chairman made the declaration on Thursday, September 24, 2026, while speaking with journalists during a stakeholders' meeting between Prince Alex Mbata and leaders of the Ngor-Okpala/Aboh Mbaise Federal Constituency.
The meeting, which brought together political stakeholders and supporters, provided an opportunity for discussions on the Patty's activities, grassroots mobilisation and preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Speaking on the occasion, Ekeh pledged his support for Prince Alex Mbata, alongside other APC candidates contesting various elective positions in the 2027 elections.
He maintained that the Patty's support base and mobilisation efforts would contribute to its performance at the polls, expressing optimism that the APC would record a landslide victory across the various levels of the election.
The Renewed Hope Ambassador Coordinator also acknowledged the contributions of Chief Kingsley Dikibo, popularly known as Ebube Mba 1 of Ngor-Okpala, and thanked him for his role in bringing stakeholders together.
Ekeh's endorsement of Mbata comes amid ongoing political engagements and consultations among stakeholders across the Imo East Senatorial District, as political parties and candidates intensify preparations for the 2027 general elections.
He stated that he is always ready to serve his people in every level.
Prince Alex Mbata, who is seeking to represent Imo East Senatorial District on the APC platform, has continued to engage stakeholders across the constituency as part of his political activities ahead of the election.
The stakeholders' meeting was therefore seen as an opportunity for political dialogue, relationship-building and the mobilisation of support for the Party's candidates.
As the 2027 elections approach, political stakeholders in Ngor-Okpala and other parts of Imo East are expected to continue their engagements with Party members and constituents on issues relating to representation, development and electoral participation.
